I’ve been writing my Cold Case Detectives series for some time now. It seems readers enjoy them, which makes me so happy. The stories have spanned a few states and a few have been set in Texas. Texas intrigues me, and Cold Case Cowboy epitomizes the West. Indiana Deboe (I love her last name, don’t ask me why) is stationed in the Irving/Dallas area and I continued to focus on sexy cowboys, but it is time to move on to other settings for future books. Her story is a great transition for this.

The core character theme for Cold Case Cowboy is the hero and heroine have a real connection with past family tragedies. It is what brings them together, along with the perilous pursuit of a serial killer. May you fall into their journey, both in love and danger.

For my next book, look forward to another female Dark Alley Investigations PI who returns to her roots in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, with the Canadian Rockies as a backdrop.
